Main

Welcome to Kennicott River Lodge and Hostel!

The main lodge building provides a commons area for all guests to enjoy. There is a lounge upstairs and a kitchen on the lower level.  There are also upper and lower viewing decks for spectacular views of the glaciers and mountains.  Next to the main lodge is a sauna and outfront a fire pit for nighttime bonfires.

What a delightful place !!!!
Brad you've done an excellent job and would love to visit there. Beautiful surroundings and very inviting environment. A treasure in the the Great Northwestern Frontier ! :)

We had a nice visit, although the fabulous common area lounge and upstairs deck were not available either night we were there because the room was rented out!! The views are gorgeous from this location.

Views are spectacular! The place is not without it's faults though. Rooms are comfortable in the lodge but the walls are quite thin. It becomes even more noticeable when the common area on the 2nd floor (Lounge) is rented out to overflow. We would have loved to sit in the lounge with a glass of wine to enjoy the view but it was unavailable both nights of our stay. That was one of the things we really looked forward to. I doubt any of the 6 people in my party will ever go back.
Brad: Stop being so nice. "No Vacancy" means just that. If you feel sorry for someone let them sleep above your room and make noise all night.
